From 24 to 26 March 2026, the Evoplay team attended the annual gathering organised by Corporación Iberoamericana de Loterías y Apuestas de Estado (Cibelae) in San José, Costa Rica – a key event for state lottery stakeholders across Iberoamérica and beyond. This year’s agenda reflected the evolving priorities of regulated lottery markets, with a strong focus on corporate social responsibility, responsible gaming, security and risk control, and anti-money laundering practices.
Evoplay was represented by Frank Cecchini, Head of Lottery, who participated in discussions alongside lottery leaders, industry suppliers, and public sector representatives. The event provided valuable opportunities to exchange perspectives on how engaging instant formats and digital-first solutions can complement traditional lottery portfolios and support sustainable growth strategies. During the event, the Evoplay team explored collaboration opportunities with lottery operators seeking to enhance player engagement through innovative instant win mechanics and mobile-optimised content. Conversations also highlighted the increasing importance of trusted partnerships as regulated markets continue to evolve and digitise.
